The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
I very rarely play videogames nowadays. That was something I did when I was 12 years old. Today Nintendo announced they're remaking "The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time". And this is one I’ve always said I would play if Nintendo ever remade it.

My History with This Game
I remember being around 12 years old when I played this game, I don’t remember the exact age, but I could have been a bit older.
I didn’t have the little thingy you put below the Nintendo 64 controller to save the game, and I don’t remember as well if I turned it off I lost the saved game. Man, I don’t remember shit, so what’s the point of this blogpost then?
I think I did have the ability to save, because I used to play it with my brother.
But I do remember the adventures and the game soundtrack. I remember multiple times thinking that my game was definitely defective because I couldn’t pass a level for many consecutive days.
There was no internet back then, or maybe there was but I didn’t have access to it. I also didn’t have any friends that played it, so I was on my own.
There were a lot of problems at home, so this game allowed me to escape and just forget about the world for a few hours.
To this day, I get excited when I hear any of the songs in the soundtrack, and I’ve always said to myself: “I’m done playing video games, they don’t make me feel anything anymore, like when I was a kid”.
But I’ve always thought to myself that if Nintendo ever makes a remake of Ocarina of Time, is one of the few games I’ll play again. So the times has come.
We don’t have a game console at home, and my daughter is not allowed to play video games, but for this game I’ll do an exception and we’ll play it together.
